"On the whole, the impressions which I received from a visit to Ukraine are very positive. I really liked Kiev and Ukrainian hospitality. I enjoyed the partnership with the international public organization "International Union of landscape creators." The event, which they organized so well, definitely came up to VIP-level. The participants of the seminar are curious people and real professionals! I liked the activeness of audience - they asked a lot of questions on the issue of the reports. All this proves a high level of professionalism and competence of Ukrainian specialists.

I think that I will not be far if I say that all the seminars on landscape design that take place in Ukraine are business projects. It is fair enough that the main goal of organizers - to make a profit. But who and how would be able to wade through the education, development and look above and beyond the business interests? On the 27th of October, 2012 the first in Ukraine VIP-professional seminar in the field of landscape art was organized and conducted by the "International Union of landscape creators." The topic of the seminar: "The history of classical and modern garden art: from France to Ukraine" the speakers of a seminar were real masters of a French elegant gardening and garden art: The Princess Marie-Sol de La Tour d'Auvergne and the Countess Alix de Saint Venant.

It bears reminding that the International Conference in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) and Uppsala (Sweden) took pace from 11.06.2012 to 16.06.2012 under the sponsorship of the «EFLA regional congress». The conference was originally conceived and supported by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University, and the European Federation of Landscape Architects and St. Petersburg city administration. In May of this year a landscape tour to the Czech Republic took place. It was initiated by the International public organization "International Union of Landscape Creators" both for the members of the organization, colleagues and partners. The group of landscape designers, nurserymen and garden devotees has visited the Czech Republic with a purpose of seeing the parks and gardens of this wonderful country... Members of Kyiv city branch of the IULC have provided a consultative and practical assistance to the secondary school No. 275 in the Desnyanskiy District of the city of Kiev, who took part in the regional competition, dedicated to the Victory Day, for the best floral arrangement among the educational institutions.
In the Desnyanskiy district of the city of Kiev a contest to create the best school hand-made flower beds and flower design of the territories of general education, vocational training, after-school and pre-school educational institutions was held. The theme of the contest enclosed such aspects as: competition under the title "With memory through the time" devoted to the 67th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, to the 1530 anniversary of the foundation of the city of Kiev and to the Day of Kiev and Euro 2012. |
