Reviews on a seminar "Man, landscape, architecture. How to rich the organic unity" held on the 22/03/2013

The IULC Board continues to receive reviews from the participants of professional practical seminar "Man, landscape and architecture. How to reach the organic unity" which took place on February 22, 2013 at the time of "KievBuild" exhibition and the 13th International exhibition "Landscape Architecture and Design (Landscape & Garden)."

As it was reported before, the representatives from different Ukrainian cities and guests from Belarus took part in the seminar. The representative of the "Association of Belorussian Landscape Industry Professionals» - Alla Klapkova, sent us her review both on the seminar and on her visit to Kiev:

"I would like to share my impressions of the seminar with you: In my work I have always tried to make a comfortable environment which harmoniously combines the natural surroundings and the personality of a person for whom we create the garden. But I did not realize that such an approach has already had a generally accepted denotation which can be called - "organic." I would like to say "thank you" to the lecturers Luigi Fiumara and Helen Bulavko who opened the new horizons of this approach to me and by their report reinforced the idea that "I have chosen the right course." I should admit that, while I was going to visit a seminar in Kiev, I had some doubts about how useful can be the performance of architects for the landscape industry professionals from a practical point of view. But on a lecture part of the seminar my doubts disappeared. As for the practical master class -      a          complete         delight!
I was really enthusiastic about the proposed method of the landscape designing - I've never done it before with help of the clay. I was also delighted by interaction between the participants of the master class and supervising architects - they got to the bottom of each work, a very delicately, giving the constructive comments, and "pushing" each "creator" to improve his masterpiece from the perspective of "organic" approach to the design.

I was really glad to attend the seminar! Thanks to the organizers and lecturers for an interesting and well-organized event! And a special thanks to the Directorate of Union for an open communication and a warm welcome!

With best regards, Alla Klapkova - director of LLC "Grinton", the city of Minsk; a member of the "Belarus Associations of Professionals in the Landscape Industry."

Impressions and emotions of Lily Moruga - the beginning landscape designer were so truthful and sincere that the members of the Board of the IULC could not help reading the review with a genuine interest:

"... looking at the landscape,                                                                                                                    a person should experience the harmony",

Luigi Fiumara

                                                                                                (from the seminar report)

...Method of Luigi Fiumara, turned out to be a very profound and simple, efficient and a mentally positive.
After having this seminar you get a real desire to improve yourself, because no one confused your thoughts and imposed his ideas, but gave a gentle hint and helped to develop the conceived idea. Contact with the clay is an unforgettable feeling. One would think of how we can materialize the project with its help? But, feeling its flexibility in hands, I have noticed that the clay itself helps to develop the imagination - while kneading and rolling it up into bundles, we were gradually creating the silhouette of a summerhouse...

The conclusion from what has been said: "The International Union of landscape creators" introduced a new trend for the demonstration of the proposed projects, their visual presentation to the customers. Nowadays, the combination of traditional technologies (of the clay) and the best known at the moment techniques of its visualization is the powerful tool for a good presentation and implementation of the projects. Therefore, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the organizers of the seminar for the creation of a special atmosphere and for the positive attitude and a given opportunity to meet new colleagues and special thanks for the delicious tea with cookies.

With respect, Lily Moruga.

Of course, among the participants of the seminar there were members of the "International Union of landscape creators" - regional representatives from Vinnitsa, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Nikolayev and other regions of Ukraine, who supported the initiative, to hold a seminar on the issues of organic landscapes, suggested by the members of the Board. Here's a review of members of Zaporozhye representative office on a visit to a seminar on the issues of organic
landscapes. Here are some reviews of the seminar which were made by its visitors - Grigoryan Marianna, Vasilyeva Tatiana Nikolaevna and Leonova Lyubov Alexandrovna, who are the members of Zaporozhye representative office:

"As we are not the first-time visitors of seminars, organized by members of the IULC Board, we should note a consistently high level of its organization ...

...About the master class. The possibility of having any practices at the seminars is offered extremely rare, although it is a good thing for a qualitative information learning, consolidation of all knowledge, informal and easy communication, and getting of new, positive experiences. We are really grateful for the excellent and an interesting seminar! "

Since many students of Kiev universities attended the seminar, their opinions and reviews of the seminar were also very important for the organizers of the event:

Dzyba Veronica (a student of Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Architecture Department).

Having visited the Master Class "Man, landscape and architecture. How to come to the organic unity", I have got a lot of interesting and useful information on a topic of organic architecture and landscapes and their perfect interaction. Lectures of Helen Bulavko and Luigi Fiumara inspired me to look for a new ways and opportunities in the field of architecture. I have discovered a lot of new information, for example -  how to work with the customers, the levels of project creation, as well as learning more about the stages of implementation and realization of a landscape project in a real environment.

I have really enjoyed the clay modelling. It gave me an opportunity to look freshly at the clay - as at the alternative way of planning, modelling, and visualization of a landscape and architectural projects. I have got a lot of positive emotions and communication pleasure from the master-class, new knowledge and skills in the field of organic architecture and landscape art. Many thanks, to organizers of the seminar and the master class of the "International union of landscape creators!"
