A preparatory stage of the project "Green Country. - A school museum of the landscape art in the open air" has started in Kiev... 

...A member of Zaporizhzhya regional branch IPO "IULC" - Vasilyeva Tatyana Nikolaevna is an active public figure. In addition to that, she is the Head of the Regional Public Ecological Association "Green Movement of Zaporozhye." At the beginning of the year 2012 this organization, known in the region for its environmental and social campaigns, has received a grant for the realization of the project "Green Country. - A school museum in the open air." The project was financially supported by the International Fund "Vozrogdenie" (Revival) and All-Ukrainian Charity Fund "Krona"(Crown). Of course, the grant has played a decisive role in the fate of the project. But it is worth mentioning, that the total budget of the project is significantly bigger. This means that a substantial part of the resources of the project will attract activists from other sources - their own power, labour, project volunteers and the support of the partner organizations.

In the process of realization of the project "Green Country", three different sitting areas in different landscape styles: regular, Ukrainian country and rock garden will be created on the territory of Hortitsky National Training and Rehabilitation multidisciplinary centre.   Also, the series of seminars on planting seedlings and trees, large trees, shrubs planting and its figured pruning, cuttings of plants, transplanting of seedlings, planting of flowering plants will take place. But that's not the whole list of the tasks that have been set by the supervisor and activists of the project. Now the programs of eco-holidays and mini-festivals are developing and the materials for making video-lectures on a topic "Parks of Ukraine" are collecting.

At this stage, the preparatory work, such as signing of partnership agreements, uprooting of old trees, making cleaning-up, preparation of the projects, purchasing of the seeds is making. Analytical forms are developing. Zaporozhye Regional branch of the IULC actively participates in the implementation of the project.
