In Zaporozhye the work on the realization of the project "Green Country"- the museum of landscape art in the open air goes on a full speed.

... This spring, within the support of the leaders and volunteers of the project "Green Country" - the park at the Khortytsya National multidisciplinary training rehabilitation centre started to reborn and renew by sight!

The "Green Country" is a project initiated by a member of the IPO "IULC," the head of the Regional Public Ecological Association "Green Movement of Zaporozhye" - Vasilyeva Tatiana Nikolaevna, and funded by the CF "Vozrogdenie"(Revival) and the CF "Krona"(Crown). The idea of the project - to create three sitting areas in different styles, to carry out an extensive educational and socio-environmental work with children of primary and high schools. The works on parks improvement are carried out by the students and teachers of the college at the Centre.

On the 22nd of April 2012 environmental events, dedicated to the International Day of Earth were conducted. Of course, the initiative group of the project could not forget about such an important and a symbolic Day - on the eve of a holiday at the Centre, a series of workshops on a technology and planting of shrubs were conducted for children of different age groups. Under thoughtful guidance of teachers and students of the landscape design department, children "were greening our planet with their own hands." It is difficult to convey in words the enthusiastic smiles and shining eyes of children, who took part in this kind of useful joint activity.

On the 20th of April, on the territory of the Centre, the official project was presented to the City and Region Media. The Project Manager - Tatiana Nikolaevna, made a detailed excursion for the journalists, showed and told where and what the residents of the city would see in the nearest future.

Events, dedicated to the Earth Day, became a sort of a reference point - a lot of things have been done, but we still have much work to do!
